Disclaimer, Payment, & Privacy Agreement and Sessions

By booking and participating in coaching and hypnosis sessions with Joanne Slavin (operating as a sole proprietorship in Ontario), you explicitly agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Scope of Services & Results

Coaching and hypnosis are designed to support your personal, professional, and wellness goals. However, you are paying for my time, professional expertise, and dedicated support, not for specific results. While we will work collaboratively to help you achieve your desired outcomes, no guarantees of specific results or success are expressed or implied. You are ultimately responsible for your own choices, actions, and progress.

 

2. Payment Terms & No Refunds

All sessions and packages must be paid in full before the scheduled session begins. Sessions will not commence until payment has cleared.

• All sales are final. There are absolutely no refunds provided for any completed sessions, unused sessions, or digital materials.

• Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions canceled without sufficient notice will be forfeited, and you will not be refunded.

 

3. Privacy & Confidentiality

All information shared during our coaching and hypnosis sessions is kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without your prior written consent. However, as required by Ontario and Canadian laws, confidentiality does not apply in the following legally mandated exceptions:

• If there is an imminent risk of self-harm or harm to others.

• If there is a suspicion of child abuse or neglect.

• If records are subpoenaed by a court order.

 

4. Professional Boundaries

As a sole proprietor offering coaching and hypnosis, I am not a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, or licensed psychotherapist. These services are not a substitute for medical or mental health care, and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or cure any psychological or physical condition.

5. I am a Certified Hypnosis Practitioner. I provide vocational and avocational self-improvement coaching. I am not a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, or medical doctor. My services do not replace medical or psychological treatment, and I do not diagnose or treat any physical or mental health disorders."
